The concept looks into our use and appropriation of different languages inn daily life both in Singapore and Malaysia. The starting point was to explore how the coming together of English, Malay and Chinese takes place.

The final design is an interpretation of this coming together of languages as a meaning of the three, to create a new singular form of expression.

Overlapping and intertwining of three different design languages particulate our appropriation and use of English, Chinese and Malay, we use words and syntaxes from the three interchangeably and in to a sentence.

3D draft

The is the 3D model making process which to overall see what’s the real product would look like. The size of the CHAT ROOM is suitable for kids.

PROTOTYPE

These are some prototype which to explore the private and public space. The starting point was Threshold, since Threshold means the intersection between space and space, could be private and private, public and public or also public to private.
